RITU has studied Art for over 2 years and loves experimenting with different mediums.  She began painting in transparent watercolor about 10 years ago.  She now often mixes watercolor, acrylic, and collage in the same painting.  “I’ll use whatever makes it work”, says Ritu.  When painting on location, she still often uses transparent watercolor, but in the studio and when doing non-representational work, she usually uses acrylic.  “I love intense color and strong value changes in my work, and I find this can be best achieved with either fluid or full-bodied acrylics.”

 “Art, as well as life, involves constant change and adaptation to one’s environment. I derive a sense of joy and creativity with each painting, which I hope to share with the viewers of my work”
